1st Annual Holiday Pop Up Shop + FREE Meet The Grinch Event

The Fan Favorite Club opened its doors for over 20 vendors to network and sell their products in time for the Holidays. As a small business, we understand the importance of having a platform to raise brand awareness and generate sales.

Several families from Mercer County, waited in long lines to stop in our Christmas Village to Meet Santa and The Grinch for pictures. Student volunteers from Nottingham High School led Christmas Arts & Crafts Activities in our Christmas Village for kids. Families were able to paint, create ornaments, and write letters to Santa.

Thank you, Child Wellness Institute, for donating $750 to our children and families!

Tuesday, November 5th Gina Hernandez, the CEO/Executive Director of the Child Wellness Institute presented the Fan Favorite Club with a check.

Several families from Mercer County, will be able to attend our Holiday Clinics this year at no cost. Child Wellness Institute focuses on building resilience and social-emotional health within children and families in New Jersey. They partner with various schools and programs, to offer children nutritional help, dog therapy, access to sports + more. We are immensely grateful for your support and the impact you are helping us achieve with a $750 donation! You have no idea how much this would bless our program.

Sunday, September 8, Doctor Ron Luber of the Levittown Medical Center presented the Fan Favorite Club with a check.

We give access to children and families to health and wellness on the weekends from 9AM-1PM.

Consistent, physical fitness can help children and adolescents improve cardio, build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of developing health conditions such as: Heart disease. Cancer. Type 2 diabetes.

La’Keisha Sutton Joins Jr.WNBA/JR. NBA Her Time To Play Community.

La’Keisha and her Staff kicked off the Her Time To Play program February 9th at the Fan Favorite Club. Her Time To Play is a national initiative dedicated to championing change on behalf of girls and women and providing them with ways to connect, collaborate and actively engage with basketball. At the heart of the program is a FREE curriculum, co-created with the Women’s Sports Foundation, which pairs on court training with off-court life skill lessons to build girls confidence, prepare them for challenges of adolescence and teach them values like teamwork.

La’Keisha is currently looking for other Community Programs with girls between the ages of 7-14 interested in playing basketball to implement Her Time To Play with.

 

La’Keisha Sutton Builds Hoops Home in Mercer County, NJ.

For those living in Mercer County, Sutton is much more than a Globetrotter, with her impact evident across her community. A native of Trenton, Sutton is the CEO of the Fan Favorite Club, which officially opened its doors on Whitehead Road in Hamilton in November 2019, a safe space for youth development with a special emphasis in Basketball Skill Development Training, Media Production and Entrepreneurship.

 

Sutton Season Officially Begins

La’Keisha Sutton announced that she would be hosting FREE basketball workouts for children to stay active, and keep practicing their skills at home. Kids from all over the world have joined in on her classes which features some Special Guest.

“I know the closing of schools, and cancelling of most activities have been hard for them to deal with emotionally. This was an opportunity for us to give back, uplift their spirits and build their confidence during the Covid 19 pandemic.” - La’Keisha

Donations or Tips are welcomed but not a requirement to join the Group Class.

The Harlem Globetrotter

Born in the small town of Trenton New Jersey, Sutton began playing basketball at the West Ward Recreation Centre, her earliest memory being the only girl on an all-boys team.

Since her time as a Gamecock, 2012 broadcast alumna La’Keisha Sutton has continued life on the court as a member of the Harlem Globetrotters. Known to fans as Swish, she also spends time inspiring young people off the court through her organization, Fan Favorite Club.
